Neon Hum is currently looking for a full-time engineer with exceptional production and mixing skills to help Neon Hum produce a wide breadth of podcast projects.

Your Role:

  • Mix, sound design, and master as needed a wide suite of talk and documentary audio projects.

  • Train and help staff with studio operations, mixing, and general audio production.

  • Maintains studio and keeps all production and engineering assets up to date.

  • Provides audio technical support for Neon Hum’s production team.

  • Works with Director of Operations and Managing Producer to create resources, policies, and procedures for Neon Hum staff.

  • Troubleshooting & managing file and asset management across all Neon Hum productions.

  • Manage remote equipment check out for staff and clients.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience as an audio engineer (or equivalent position) required – podcast environment preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Pro Tools and Hindenburg required.

  • Patience and professionalism in delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to multitask work on a variety of audio projects.

  • Attention to detail, with good organization and time management skills
